Hello, I just got the mavic . This form answer few problems I had .Thank you.. So my two questions. First I do not need to register the drone with FAA ?
Second I do photography of landscape and wildlife. If I go and sell a photo of sunset from the drone . Do I need the a FAA licences for that ? Can I sell from my webpage?
I understand about weddings and realtors.
Thank you

You are only exempt from registration if you are flying only for recreational purposes and flying a drone under 250g. Selling photos is not for recreational purposes. You need a part 107 license and to register your drone.

Yes, over 249 grams or using for commercial purposes if under 249 grams.

Take the TRUST and keep a copy with you when you fly.

If the Drones weight is over 250 grams then yes to fly it you must register it.

As a recreational pilot You cannot do anything for profit or GAIN. No-one can benefit from your flight and you can provide no service, So yes you need a 107 cert to do such things. You do NOT need a 107 to Register a Drone.
