Question about ND filters

I bought some ND filters and tried an ND8 yesterday as it was cloudy. I switched from AWB to Manual, set the lighting to cloudy and manually applied -1 to contrast, -1 to sharpness and +1 to saturation. (I watched a few youtubes in which these settings were recommended.) The video came out awful. It was very bleached.

I tried it with the ND 16 and it is better, but the sky seems overexposed in much of the video.

Any ideas for improving my video quality?

The slight bleached look is actually what you’re looking for. If you’re shooting in CineD-.Like mode you can then add all the necessary tweaks post production. It records much more information about the scene so that you can add and tweak contrast colour etc
