Question on MA2 refresh, before starting or activate after?

My Mavic Air 2 will arrive tonight, I purchased Refresh Care after from my dealer in which they supplied a refresh code to use when activating Refresh Care. I just need the serial number from drone, that’s when I can activate refresh care for my MA2.

With the issues of some out of box Mavic Air 2 some are experiencing with not activating, do you recommend I wait to make sure I’m able to activate the MA2 with my phone before activating Refresh care?

I don’t want to repurchase Refresh care again if I need to replace my out of box MA2 if activating refresh care before starting drone.

Hope this makes sense, appreciate your recommendations.

There is a window of time after activation. Don’t remember how many hours. You should activate the ac first.

When it comes to refresh, I extensively use the 48 hr window to get in as many flights as I can to make sure the drone is not malfunctioning in any shape way or form. If I find an error, my move would be to exchange it for a new one. If not, then I would go ahead and purchase the Refresh right before the 48hr window expires.

Although the Refresh can be cancelled anytime for a full refund, you wouldn't have to go through the hassle of scanning and emailing DJI all the proof of purchase and return for your drone. Saves you time.
