Question on Mavic Pro - Compass Callibration before flight

Hello all,

As a novice pilot in command still (practicing), I have noticed on my last couple of flights at pre-check, (in the overall status bar area), the compass tab is unresponsive..(?), in that I am unable to calibrate before taking off. Has the firmware and / or software been outdated for the Mavic Pro? It simply states on my remote controller that the compass is normal, and that the firmware is current. So I am unsure how to do any compass calibrations now before my flights as I was instructed to by various DJI and other YouTube pilots. Thank you for your help,

Might be because you don’t need to calibrate your compass.
I only do one when it ask for it.

There's a lot of misleading information on Youtube.
There's no need to recalibrate your compass before each flight.
