I have seen “quiet props” for Mavic Air. Are these worth it?

IMO yes - the noise is only slightly smaller, but the pitch is much lower making it less annoying.

I assume you're talking about Master Airscrew...

Use clothespins to clip playing cards on the rotor struts so that the propeller taps it on every pass, like kids do with their bicycles. That'll do.
