R/C serial number in App?

My Mavic RC serial number is completely smudged off of my controller. Advised to record all serial numbers for all devices "just in case," for insurance purposes, sounds like a good idea. Any idea how I can do that, under the circumstances?

This should tell you....
power on the drone, RC, app and enter device---upper right icon---general----about.

I've not tried it on the RC but the AC has a list of serial numbers in assistant 2 in factory mode

Umm no, just tells you what your serial number is....


before I even clicked submit, I looked back up the page to see its HH's version of events...

I am trying to determine my controller S/N after losing my drone in the ocean. Unfortunately, plugging in the remote to my phone and using the DJIGO app my Flight Controller Serial Number says N/A.

Any other way to determine controller S/N?

(Also, The DJI Assistant program does not do anything when I try plugging the remote into my computer.)
