I just got a Mavic 2 and started using DJI Go 4.
The last time I have flown was 1 year ago and it was with a P3P and I believe it was DJI Go 3.
When I used to fly I could use the radar to line up my RC with the exact direction of the bird.
It would seem something has changed. Perhaps I have not played around with it enough...
If someone knows of the radar changes that happened between versions please let me know.

Thanks!

The only change I noticed was a green shadow sometimes shows up. Not sure what that's for.

What are you finding different?

The green thing is the direction that the camera is facing.
I guess I just need to mess with it and see how its setup now.
I wasnt implying there was something wrong with it.
My issue was I was used to flying with the older version and the P3P and I was finding myself not understanding how to read the radar.
Like where I thought it was based on the radar, wasnt where I physically saw it.

It's hard to tell what your issue is from your post.
But there has been no change in the way the radar display works.

I know I am not the sharpest tack in the box, but I found that video confusing.

It is until you go fly. Hover ( or leave it on the ground powered on ten feet away) and turn your body and watch the accelerometer. Then rotate the drone while watching it. Then accelerate forward, left, right, and reverse (obviously need to be in the air for this) and watch the blue horizon in it.

Ok-now I got it. Watched vid again(actually a couple of times) and then tried it. It was the “position of you” (white arrow) that was confusing me. Very neat—and I could definitely see where you would use this if you happened to totally lose sight and location of your AC. Thank you!

Your position is the centre of the circle.
The white marker is where you are facing.

Assuming your device compass is accurate and calibrated.
I haven't noticed the horizon indicator on Go 4, will need to pay more attention. I have noticed it in the past weon my P3 thought. On P3/go 3 camera angle is the green triangle which can easily be confused with the AC orientation which really is the red triangle.
