I learned a lot that I wasn't yet aware of about the the inclusion of Mavic 4 Pro features like Dynamic Home Point, 7 step AEB, Auto On and Auto Off by unfolding and folding.

Also, snap on snap off props (no screw driver needed), parallel charging, and a bag that is plenty large for all things.

 
I don't see any difference in photo quality between the two in daylight and outdoor. For night shots only, the Mini 5 will win.

3s was leaving a tiny hole in zenith still
That's interesting, I wonder if there is some unit-to-unit variation. Mine clearly gets the zenith into the top of the frame when pointed max "up."

Edit: It will shoot the zenith only under manual control. The auto pano modes will NOT include the zenith. You are correct about that.

The zenith is usually just a blue sky fill-in, so usually a cloning of the surrounding area works just fine.
 
The mini3 pro has a hole in the zenith for the automated panorama, but if you put the camera in vertical mode the hole can be properly filled with 2 manual shots at max upward tilt on the gimbal. I'd guess the mini 4 and 5 can do this too. It does mean you need to manually stitch.
