I've given some serious thought to purchasing a pair of these. Does anyone here use them and does it improve your experience of flying the Air 3S? Any reviews are helpful. Thanks guys! :)

I'm using Viture Pro AR glasses. They are a game changer for me. I believe the other brands do a good job as well... I chose mine because the optics are adjustable with a knob on the glasses while others have prescription inserts.

You get a big bright screen in front of your eyes. The Viture Pro glasses let you chose between a semi translucent view that allows you to see the sky at the same time or a view that blacks everything out except the image in front of you. They plug directly into the RC2 Controller which outputs an HDMI image over USB-C.

I've just received my Rayneo 3 Pro glasses and while I haven't taken my Mini 5 Pro for an actual flight yet I did give it a go in the backyard and just took it up in the air a little bit. First reaction, wow, second reaction, wow. Super bright and looks good.

I use the Viture Pro glasses with my Mini 4 Pro. I love them! Ill have a Mini 5 Pro soon that I'll use them with too. I like using the glasses vs goggles because I feel with the glasses I have a lot more situational awareness. The glasses allow some vision around and through the lenses where the goggles completely cover your eyes.

I didn't know you can use glasses when flying. How do they work? How do they connect? Do you have to put the drone in FVP mode? Can I switch between my Air3s and Mini 5 Pro?

Thanks!

They pug into your controller via UBS-C and basically display a big screen in front of your eyes by mirroring the the view from the controller. Not the same as goggles but much brighter and gives a little bit of an FPV perspective. You don't have to change any settings.

Will they work with the Mini5 Pro? Thanks :)

Has anyone used the glasses with the RC pro 2 controller? Would like to try but not sure which port to put the usb-c cord in. I have a HDMI to usb-c adapter so could plug it into either the usb-c port or the hdmi/adapter to usb-c port. Since the glasses require power from the controller I would think the stand alone usb-c port would work. Don’t know if the hdmi port has lower.

I bought those glasses and could not get them to work on anything. I installed the app on two different tablets, and my phone. But even though connected properly, they displayed just a blank screen. They didn't work on my Air 3S with the RC2 either. But you can't download apps to the RC2 anyway. Or am I wrong?

Sending them back and getting the RC 2 Pro.

I have the Viture pro glasses(mainly for the diopter adjustment). Also got an adapter for the hdmi output. Turns out didn’t need it. I plugged the glasses cable directly into the usb-c input on the bottom of the RC pro 2 controller. Works fine. My son has the Rayneo ones, will try those later this weekend.

I'll be interested to read any drone-use reviews too... Been considering these type of glasses for a couple of years now and this is the first model I've seen that is priced at a level that's worth a punt.

I heard, this should be possible with USB-C Adapter e.g.
VITURE USB-C to Glasses and Charging Adapter

AR glasses need enough current, may only works fine in combination with small powerbank and the adaptre
