Really Strange Flight - Any Ideas?

The aircraft did return to the home point correctly under RTH, but you cancelled RTH and flew it away by applying forward elevator. It re-engaged failsafe RTH after losing signal, as you mentioned, and it returned a second time:

I know sar104 posted the quoted above but this is addressed to the op..... If you want to remain flying, I suggest you stay away from that area. You should not be flying over the 91st Ave treatment plant. If one of the workers saw you, you would have probably lost the drone altogether when the police arrived. I work for the city and that's a no no. I know Airmap shows it's OK to fly there, I wouldn't risk it.
