Rear facing chase? (Mode for this?)

Let's say I'm riding my bike and I want my Mavic to film me from the front as I ride into it.

Basically me chasing the drone, but never catching up to it.

Is there a mode for this?

Probably not, because there are no rear sensors.

Isn't it basically doing the same thing for a brief period while orbiting a moving subject in trace mode though?

You should be able to do this in normal active track by starting with it more or less in front.
Somewhere in the app settings there is or was an option to allow it to go backwards.
You need a good clear area and be ready to stop it due to lack of rear sensors.
