try and get a usb-c one if your machine has it or at least usb3...they are plentiful on ebay and amazon

I agree with the USB 3.0 recommendation for fast transfer. Here’s what I bought recently:

There are many similar devices on Amazon (and eBay). This one has good reviews and is reasonably priced.

I have the Lexar card reader also. I use it for my cf cards since my computer has an SD card slot.
I would recommend it
