I read on the forum that it costs $5 to register, so although I have a mini I registered. It cost me $38. What did I do wrong? Also, if I get a mini 2, can I use one of my registered stickers on it, as I was never asked for a model or serial number.

Did you register at the FAA site (FAADroneZone)
Did you register as a "recreational flyer"?
If so, for $5 they assign you an operator ID good for 3 years (renewal allowed).

Is Evergreen in USA?

Sounds like you got scammed. The ONLY place is FAADroneZone They give you a pdf certificate of registration, but no sticker.

Sounds like you accidentally went to a third party site and paid them to do the FAA registration for you and got stickers as a "bonus". The official FAA Dronezone only charges the $5 registration fee and gives you your FAA#. The extra $33 would have been enough to get a cheap label maker to do up all of your equipment, which is exactly what I did. Though I carry as required a copy of my registration I also have a label on my controller with that so I dont have to dig it out mid flight if I'm questioned.

Thanks. I must have gone to a third party. They sent the stickers and a nice looking FAA id card. I didn't see anything about the faadronezone until I read your replies.
