I may have posted this in the wrong place. but I was just wondering, could anyone tell me when the rules for Operator ID's came in?

Just wondering what I need to be applying for in the near future.

I think the Operator ID came into effect in late 2019. I know I’m onto my second ID now as the format changed when I renewed it.

@TheSnowyPilot OP ID started in November 2019 and is renewed yearly on the date of first application ,which for me was 15-10-2019 my next one will be on 15-10-2021 i am on my second one, the flyer ID lasts 5 years from the date that you pass the test and is free operator ID is at the moment £9 a year
