Hello everyone,

I am on vacation in Dominican Republic and suddenly today in the morning. My Mavic lovebird won't connect to the remote.

What I have tried until now:
Downgrade firmware
Upgrade firmware
Connected the phone into the USB slot and not the micro USB
Factory reset
Manually connect with C1+C2+Record button until it beeps and then pushing the camera button (it beeps but only says connecting..)

The Remote says: Connecting..
The app says: Aircraft disconnected (red)
The drone is blinking yellow

I have tried to connect with WIFI (working). But I want to fly high and long distances, so it will not work for me without the RC.
Please watch the video, is the RC broken or the drone?

Did you try to re-bind the remote? It looks like you've done everything but that.

Hi. Re-bind. You mean pushing the C1+C2+Record until it beeps? And then camera button after that? I did that. It beeps but just says connecting..

When you connected via the bottom USB port did you remove the micro usb cable.

Had to ask..

Hello. Yes I did that. But does the iPhone have anything to do with the remote? I thought that even without connecting the phone to the RC. The RC will still connect with the drone if it is all setup correctly?

Yep your dead right, should still connect even without a phone. Just tried on mine & it connected.

So weird. I think I need to a buy a new RC. But I am not sure if it is the Drone or the RC that is causing it.. thanks for answer anyway.

I’m wondering if the micro USB port is knackered on the controller, I’ve read a lot of threads on the forum about that port being easy to damage.

Ok. But when i connect to the normal usb port. The same.. and rc and phone connects together. The problem is rc and the drone..

Have to tried a soft boot on your iPhone by holding the power/home button together?

You mean to turn of the iphone and turn it on again? Yes i have tried. But like i wrote earlier: the rc should connect to the drone even if the phone is not connected. Right?

I’m trying to think of all different avenues but with no luck at the mo..:(
