I'd noticed a slight crack starting on the blade of the front LH prop on my M2Z, so was swapping it for a new prop which decided it wasn't going on without a fight.
Closer inspection showed one of the old props bayonet fixings (do they have a different name?) was embedded in the top of the motor & didn't want to come out.

I removed the 3 top cover screws with a 1.5mm Allen Key

And the cover was removed

It still wouldn't budge, so eventually had to prise it out with a watchmakers screwdriver

Job Done - Decided to swap all 4 props & check for damage more often
