Air 3 Renovations at Warburton Toll Bridge, May 2025

The recent Bank Holiday Monday afforded us an opportunity to fly the drones locally, and the Warburton bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal is only a mile walk from home, so a perfect subject - especially as it is undergoing some renovation atm...

All went well until I was about to make the final fly-in and pass under the bridge, when a prop failed and the drone began to descend. Thankfully, I was able to get it back to me before it landed in the water!

Anyway, the footage we did get came together well enough, a simple video, but hopefully enough to be of interest...

Nice video and well captured Suzanne, the music was fitting for the subject, thers's been a lot of controversy with respect to heavy goods vehicles damaging the bridge when they aren't supposed to be using it it during repairs

Thanks hon, yes, lots of posts of pictures of vehicles that shouldnt be on there.. Its a shame they cant follow the rules before enough damage occurs that no-one can use the bridge...
