A few days ago, I had my Mavic Pro crashed on a cliff, but fortunately, it was not very serious.
The main problem was with the left front corner of the drone on the edge of the top cover and also on the housing of the front left obstacle's avoiding camera. Since I had my drone tested and everything worked fine, it made no sense to me, to change the cover by sending it to Dji service and paying almost 70Euros plus shipping.
My main concern was to find a way to "close" the gap between the two covers, to prevent humidity and dust going through. The top plastic cover is quite hard and not possible to bend without cracking, so, I recalled a technique of my youth when I was repairing my younger brother's toys. I used an old type of iron (the one we used to iron clothes) using in between, a thick piece of baking paper to prevent burning the plastic. So, after a minute, the plastic started to bend and to regain its actual shape. And the result, is almost perfect!!!
I thought that my idea, will be helpful in some cases, so, I decided to post here.

Did you use starch? lol joking

It looks better after the ironing. Now that the top body is flatter, you could use flexible adhesive to fill in the gap between the body and middle frame.

the irony is that the damage is by the obstacle avoidance sensor

Hi there...what do you mean? My sensors were and are working fine. Unfortunately, while it was descending (3.00mt away from the home point and with no connection) the drone must have recognized the tree just a few inches above the tree, since I heard the short beeping but the tree was "naked" from leaves, so, it hovered just for a second and then continued downwards. From the flight record, I know that there was a reconnection, almost 7seconds before crashing. During these last seconds, I was feeling so bad that I am not sure if I have tried the RTH cancellation. I was trying the sticks and there was no response. Anyway, I feel really happy that I retrieved my drone almost untouched and it works excellent.
By the way, beyond the funny side of "ironing" the nose of my drone, I really find it quite stupid to send it in Germany DJI service) for more than a month and paying this 70euros +shipping, just for the looks. And of course, it is even more stupid to me, to use my DJI care refresh for this. I may need it in the future.
I have to mention that I do respect all of you here, I thank you for the help and even for the humor. But, I have my own perspective on things and I thought that posting my idea of using an iron for this kind of minor problems, will be helpful.

I wish I were that clever. No. I simply found it ironic that damage was incurred near the device designed to avoid collision. This was not intended to be controversial, or offensive
Good morning from Chalkidiki-Greece!!!
Honestly, I was not referring to your comment. I was just explaining that the sensors are working fine and it would not be possible to detect the naked thin branches from the tree.
I do appreciate the good intention and my pleasure to be here.
Thank you,
