There has a been ton of discussion concerning the gimbal ribbon and its replacement. I'd like to add my two cents worth.
Recently I fried the gimbal ribbon and had to replace it...loads of fun(about four hours worth). When it came to the point of reattaching the four camera/gimbal/front sensor connectors I wanted to glue/tape each in place. After some research in the threads posted here I decided to use Star brite Liquid Electrical Tape. However, the stuff is runny and I wasn't up for making a gooey mess inside the Mavic Pro. After a bit of experimentation with toothpicks, ear swabs, and a tiny paint brush I wasn't happy with the results. I decided to try an IM(inter muscular)syringe. Went to my local druggist and purchased a half dozen syringes($0.50 ea.). I pulled a half cc into a 4cc IM syringe(using a 14 gauge needle) and was able to do a nice professional looking job. Best of all there was no messy clean-up and no waste of material!
