Ed, depending upon what you plan to do, I would say that the drones you have will do most any job

I am not planing on anything. Just thinking about getting a new drone
The upcoming Mavic 4 Pro looks like one that I'll be adding to my fleet.

Good one I am thinking about the air 3s
I have the Air 3, and it's a great drone! I didn't see enough enhancements on the 3s to get it. So, I plan on the Mavic 4 Pro

The Mavic 3 Pro provides the flexibility of 3 cameras and it is at the lowest price it has been since release so it might be something to consider. It is also a mature, stable and bug free design.

like GFields said, the next new 'great' thing from DJI will likely be the Mavic 4 Pro. But that's likely to come with a pretty heavy price tag....if the Tariff War continues, maybe a really really heavy price tag, especially if you're going for the Fly More Combo....might top out over $4000

but the Mavic 3 pro is expensive now too. The Fly More Combo with the RC Pro is $3889. A refurbished Mavic 3 Pro with DJI RC is only $2400. I have full confidence in refurbished-by-DJI drones (Drone Nerds has a new Mav

if the 3X/7X telescopic cameras don't matter to you, then a new Mavic 3 classic fly more combo is around $1930. You can get a refurbished Mav 3 classic + 2 batteries for under $1500

on the other hand, if you're just itching to spend a lot of money you might consider the Matrice 4E. About $8400 for a Fly More Enterprise Combo with Care Refresh Enerprise. It has the same camera configuration as the Mavic 3 Pro, only with an added laser range finder. It also comes with the the RC Plus 2 Enterprise which is a far superior RC than the RC Pro. Bigger screen and more nits

what's crazy is that 2 months ago Adorama was effectively selling that Combo for $5700. Welcome to the Tariff wars

What do you want to do with the new Drone Seems you have a number of Camera Drones.

Congrats on the upcoming retirement! I retired at 55. Every night is Friday night, and every day is Saturday. Life is good.

I just retired last year. I bought a Air 3S combo for my retirement gift along with 2 neos, 2 RC motion 3's, Avata 2, Goggles 3N, Goggles 3, and finally a FPV RC3. Plus a few extra batteries. RadioFlyerMan is right, every day becomes a weekend!!
Btw I really like the A3S compared to my MA2 it's very smooth and quiet for it's size I thought.
Happy Retirement Ed H !!

Seems like you have the best array of advice above. Great position to be in-retiring, enough money to buy a new drone and plenty of time on your hands. I love looking through the specs of each DJI drone and wondering if I should start negotiations with my wife-so far I have got no further than window shopping. My Air 2 is perfect for me, trundling around the lagal air space here-not a lot available just enjoying the whole experience. Happy hunting and welcome to retirement, been at it for 23 years now.

The DJI Mavic 3 Classic is excellent drone with great battery fly time and a fantastic camera. I absolutely love the one I bought as an upgrade to the Mavic Air 2 which was great. The Air 2 was hard to beat so I thought until IJ flew the 3 Classic. The improvements and features will have you saying Wow! Super fun to fly. If you do decide to purchase one I would suggest you get the fly more kit which includes 2 extra batteries and the three-battery hub, extra props and a few other useful items.

How about a 3T and volunteer your services to a local FD or County Safety or PD/Sheriff/911. It feels good to be productive and help others. Get your 107 if you don’t already have it.

Post #6 is a good choice. Skip the new 4 that DJI is building until the bugs have been established and eliminated.
