With the ability to set the RC as the RTH point is there an advantage to either choice? i.e RTH take off point or the Controller.
Obviously being on a moving platform like a boat means that coming back to the controller is best.
Also if you lose connection from the controller to the Mavic what would happen then?

You have the option to reset the home point to the current location of the device running the Go 4 app, but it is not a continuously updated home point.

When you do this you must check that it is correct, and this is one reason why it is not automatically updated as the device moves, when say on a ship...

So if you lose the connection the home point is going to be wherever you last manually updated it.

Thanks, thought before that if you set the home as the controller it would always come back, didn't realise I had to keep updating it.
