I'm a big fan of the cinematography of Emmanual Lubezki who shot The Revenant. He's an amazing photographer.
I was playing around with some Mavic Pro footage I shot over the weekend and tried to emulate that look using DaVinci Resolve. It was a fun experiment, but also a reminder that I ain't no Lubezki, that's for sure.
By the way, this was shot just north of Roslyn, Washington, where the 90s TV show Northern Exposure was filmed. The music is from the soundtrack of The Martian.
