Hey OP - I'll be out on the south shore of Long Island later this week visiting family. I've been reading up on the area - any things I should be made aware of for flying? Any chance you've flown near south Hampton (or near)? Thanks

South Hampton is about 85 miles east of where I am but flying along the south shore shouldn't be a problem if your along the beach. Just follow common sense rules. Dont fly over large groups of people, etc, etc

Thanks and one more question - do you call the small airports if you are close or not usually?
