Mental Health Care AND a return to teaching our children values and morals. It's time the pendulum swung back the other way and the rod was re-introduced for petulant children, at home as well as in the school. I never wanted to be a teacher, but today, I would look at such an assignment as sentence to insanity, and a short one at that. Kids today treat their teachers like crap. We may not have liked our teachers, but we respected them and other adults as well. As for kids vs. kids, back then when we were going to "kill" someone, it meant we were gonna punch them in the nose, not stab them or shoot them.

I completely agree here. Totally. No snark. We had guns in school, too. And in our cars. VERY common during the various hunting seasons. No one got shot intentionally, much less threatened. (The consequences, when you got home as you say, were way more distasteful than using a tool to solve your perceived immediate problem).

I have a very close friend who is a teacher in the so-called 'alternative' school system here in TN. The stories I get, direct from the horses' mouth, are... horrifying.


The problem with mental health is reaching a consensus on what is aberrant and what's not, and with all the pushback I've gotten in this thread, that's as far as I will describe it.

NO doubt, people are hurting. People are mentally unstable.

The further this country strays from the God of the Jews and Christians, the worse off we will be.

I prayed before I responded here. Generally, I don't discuss politics, I am here just for the news on how much worse drones are being painted daily.

Proud Boys took part in repeated clashes with counter-protesters in Portland and other cities from 2016 to 2021.

It's too early to determine much about Tyler Robinson. You can say "wasn't ours", but all we know right now is he was raised in a conservative Mormon family, and his parents are republicans.

No motive or political leaning has been uncovered for Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who shot at Trump at a rally in July of 2024. Ryan Wesley Routh, the guy who was caught before taking a shot at Trump was a former Trump supporter.

Which Nashville and/or church shooting are you referring to? That's the sad part here; the sheer number of shootings that involved kids means you have to provide specific dates and locations. Without specifics, most, if not all, mass shootings were caused by deeply disturbed people, and politics was not a factor.

When you try to demonize one side, you lose sight of that we are all human beings. We don't have to share the same beliefs. Just because someone has a different view from you doesn't mean that person will use "murder, arson, and rioting" to force their agenda on you.

Watch the video of Charlie being shot as hard as it is to watch. Then think of all the children in our country that have been killed. This is what it looks like, the taking of a life.

I watched the video, in slow motion, 4Chan has it. Although I do not recommend it. It's pretty awful & for nothing. He was actually hit in the chest & the bullet ricocheted off his vest & into his neck. They likey won't ever admit this is what happened, then evil people will aim for the head instead in the future if they think they're target is more than likely wearing a vest. They have vests you'd never notice called executive vests.
This guy who did it was such a coward. Mr Kirk would have gladly stood in front of him & debated him on his beliefs. But instead he chose to snipe him from a rooftop. To chicken to face the man & get his ill conceived beliefs shot down.

I guess the next time you want to fly your drone illegally over an assembly of people, you can reference this event & say your looking for people like this. Hopefully they'll change the laws though, as many crimes are solved by citizens which is why they put their photos on the news and such. Trumps attempted assassin would've also been spotted if people were allowed to fly a drone over that assembly as well.

You don't need to go underground or on the dark web, platforms like X and YT now feature graphics videos in all its unglory....uncensored. It was a huge job to police the web and keep media suppressed and I believe they were overwhelmed and basically gave up and now that the video is practically everywhere, there's nothing to hid. You can be sure the Russian bots and the Chinese guys in their basement are having a field day agitating the situation against the American people and making up all kinds of stories and posting a lot of fake stuff online to keep us confused and angry. I'm have a really hard time trying to keep up with it.

As for the drone, we are not pushing for ordinary drone flyers to be able to fly drones at events; an event-goer should not be permitted to enter with his drone without proper permission. Instead what we need is authorized security teams, hired individuals, event organizers, and other non-government actors to be able to erect whatever protective apparatus they deem necessary based on the available resources without unnecessary interference from state and local (and sometimes even federal) laws whether that has to do with surveillance, privacy, or airspace-related drone rules and regulations.

You should probably read their dying manifestos. There are a lot of recurring themes that are not associated with conservative values.

If you want to argue that brain meds were a factor, or that they were more susceptible to leftist ideology, taking it as marching orders and not silly rhetoric, those are very debatable in my opinion.

I am not trying to demonize anyone. Having said that, I've spent a good portion of my life confronting literal demonic behavior in real life. I am simply becoming more vocal about calling things what they are because I don't have a job right now that can be canceled for my speech.

I agree on your points that not all that don't agree with my world viewpoint aren't my enemy. I am confining my comments to leftist/progressive/democrat/socialist/communists, who absolutely use all of those methods to try and achieve their end goals.

You're absolutely right about our foreign (and some domestic) enemies making hay with this.

Some people take less and less to set off, and they count on that.


The vest theory - I have some experience there, and I am not super sold on it. People that use armor where spall and skip is possible also use spall shields in the layup.

If it hit the edge of the vest, no manufacturer warrants edge shots because of this problem.

I'm not comfortable going into any deeper detail because the people who are doing this are probably also here researching how to use drones to further their actions. (shrugs)

You have missed the entire point. We don't know why a former Trump supporter was going to try to assassinate him. He is not of sound mind. Common sense does not apply to the mentally ill.
