The thing is that anyone can say what they want with free speech.it’s free speech until someone doesn’t like what you say. My grandmother’s favorite saying was “live by the sword, die by the sword”. Charlie was not a fan of mine but he should not have died for his beliefs.
Because we need more polite, thoughtful discussion of our differences. That's what he did. I disagreed with a lot he said, but he always did so with grace. (Note: grace is not always used in a religious context.) He was silenced.I don't get the hype.
This guy's life was no more or less valuable than any other. If we're not going to make a big deal out of, say, that woman who was murdered on the bus the other day, why would we make a big deal about this guy?
Being forthright, I don't understand fan idolism.
