RTH Home Question

Does "home" always have to be where the Mavic took off, or can "home" be where the transmitter is when conducting an RTH? If I move locations while the Mavic is inflight, I'd rather an RTH bring it to me rather than where it took off.

You can set that in the DJI Go app. Once connected to the Mavic, hit the three ... in the upper right, select the drone icon (I think it's the first one) and then select Home as where it took off or where the remote is. Triple check it's correct, ALWAYS.

When choosing this option please remember it is not dynamic - i.e. you would need to set a new home point each time you move.

I mean as you move with the remote, HP doesn't adjust to your move?
