I like seeing the occasional night city scape so figured I should show you when things get really busy around our way!
Couple of things:-DJI Mini 3 lacks downlights (I really must read the manual); and
angling the gimbal down really affects the result.

The reason why angling down affects the results is that you have your camera set to auto exposure

When it's pointing up, with lots of bright sky in the shot, it will dial down the exposure to account for the sky and this will make the land darker
When you point it down, the camera auto corrects for the dark land and ups the exposure, but at the expense of overexposing the sky

This works exactly the same as in photography, have a read up on the 'exposure triangle' and how camera exposure works
I'm sure others can explain it far better than me
