I don't have a MM, I own two MP's and always take the temp before and after with a laser spot gun. Don.t fly if temp is above 95 degrees. MP has a cooling fan, the MM does not, its your drone, you have to make the call. Found out its heats up much quicker as expected on hot days over 95 degrees. I keep a record of how hot it is, temp, while its hovering, right after take off.
and how hot it gets after flying for 15 minutes in 95 degree heat. I don't like to push the envelope.
Depends how long I fly, On hot day and humid day pretty much the same. I am careful not to exceed 120 degrees. Because of how it may effect the risk of Frying the FC ESC Board. I fly just to have fun taking and keeping track of drones temp especially on HOT and Humid days. Have in my notes never to exceed 125 degrees Heat Sink Temp, At normal temps cooling fan will keep the drone cool when the core board temp gets to be 110 degrees and up 117 degrees. it will keep the drone cool enough to avoid over heating. I don't like to push it on very hot days. Same with our body, I check my temp everyday, some times twice a day. Been getting reading of 96.5 and up to 97.5, all good but if my body temp goes up toWhat are you getting for your temps upon landing after at least 20 minutes of flight which is my come home time at about 27% of battery? I average 119 degrees with a MP Zoom. As I said I too will not fly when the temp hits 95 degrees fahrenheit and is one of my UAV parameters so here in Utah and Nevada I fly mostly first thing in the morning when the temperature is about 80 degrees.
