Same with NYC. It was wild in the late 80s when I first went, then super enjoyable to visit and walk around quite safely in the 2000's. Now it's becoming dangerous in many areas again.

don't remember the world very well 16 yrs ago but i could fairly say that i wouldn't fly in Chicago, or all the above mentioned places.
