Yes did go through some cables and made sure I had a data cable, but here recently with the Mavic I did have a data cable but only tried the one. Good suggestion.

Most of my fail was with the Phantom and once I tried and failed with the Mavic I decided not to waste any more time with it. Was just hoping the GO4 would be different and it wasn't.

Not sure if this is true for M1 but for M2 remote, must disconnect the short micro-USB from the port to fully activate the USB-A port
