SanDisk SD card will not work

I just took a SanDisk 32GB card out of an old camera to use as a back up in my Mini. The app sees the card, but says it is "unavailable". I tried reformatting it in the drone and when that didn't work, on my Mac. No joy. I formats it on the Mac in the ExFat format. Does anyone know if that is the right format? If not, what is?

What speed class is the card? From memory the mini needs a fairly 'modern', fast one.

Agreed. I've heard of users who get an older card to work but still wind up having problems. In my mind, it's not worth the potential grief of having it stop working part way through a flight. You just know it would be during a great video or epic photo!

There's also the possibility that the card is a fake no matter what the label says. But since it was mentioned as an older card, it probably is not up to the speed demands of the drone.
