Good looking pics. Are the streaks on the water from ice or just how the wind was blowing? I think it really adds to the pic.

The streaks really do add interest. I thought they were snow at first then I enlarged the photo. My guess would be it is peaty-water, water that has percolated through peat. I see similar lines on peaty-water lakes here when there is wind, I guess small wave action stirs up something in the water producing a foam of sorts.

IIRC, simply wind. Perhaps with the peat effect mentioned above.
Direction of the streaks certainly added to the pic, altho not planned!
Air2S handled the wind nicely, nonetheless.
Absolutely beautiful area.

The lines are Langmuir circulations. They form on any sizable body of water from bubbles, foam, and small debris piled up in lines by water circulating at the surface.
