Scottish Castle

Managed to get some good flying done today. Lockdown restrictions in the UK are easing up slowly and I was able to make a trip to this castle in Scotland. Allegedly it is the inspiration for Bram Stoker's infamous Dracula. The video has been thrown together in the Fly app so some resolution has been lost...

Thanks for all the positive feedback! Its a very dronegenic location. I was lucky the weather was favourable too! Somehow ruined castles seem to capture the imagination even better than complete ones. All the seagulls didn't seem to be the slight bit interested in a little MM buzzing about. Maybe they're more friendly around there?

The music was just one from the Fly app editor library.

The size of seaguls is almost the same as the mini size. Maybe that a much bigger drohne would be less appreciated!
BTW, I love Scotland! I passed many times my holidays especially in the Highlands such as Apple Cross, Fort Williams, Mallaig, Isles of Skye, and also in Durness and Cape Wrath, Ullapool and so on! Wit a mobile home of course!

unfortunately when I visited Scotland (1985-1999) the drones didn´t even exist in our dreams

What a wonderful place! I want to buy it and live there. It just needs a roof and and a little cleanup. Great flying too.

I can imagine the sales brochure for the castle... "light, airy and panoramic sea views and close to nature, this historic castle would respond well to sympathetic modernisation..." ?

Let me add my congratulations for a wonderful video, well done!Everything about it was enjoyable. The flying, the scenery, the clip lengths, the editing, color correction, music, all just right. This is one of those films we should all aim to pattern our efforts.

I would seriously tout this at the Scottish Tourist board as well as Nat Trust (is it a Scottish NAt Trust place?) .

You did however miss the money shot .... down the turret and out of the window!

great music choice too .. usually I hate music on these but that was perfect.
