Screen Protectors - How are they removed?

I found a couple of interesting videos on how to fit a screen protector, sounds a bit lame I know but I didn`t really know how all the guide stickers work, but it`s very straight forward.

Are they as easy to remove though, one guy on youtube uses a hair dryer on low heat with a credit card and it seems to work, but I dont want to use one and not be able to remove it without damaging the screen.

Appreciate any info...
