SD Card and Phone Memory Options

Hi Guys,

At first I apologized if I create duplicated thread. I am very new as a drone pilot. My first drone is DJİ Mavic. Maybe I am lucky maybe I am not, I don not know just for now.

My question is; When I record/take photo on my flight it seems photos and movie files are only stored in my phone memory. I've already installed SD card to my drone but Go App stores my photos/movies.

I would like to use drone memory (SD Card) because I do not have enough space every time in my iphone.

Could you please advise?

Howdy from Wyoming RogFed, under that camera setting on the DJI GO4 app there is a box you can check "cache video" and you can uncheck the box (or set the storage limit to very low)

They are already being recorded in the Mavics SD card simultaneously with the phone. As Bunny Too mentioned you can either turn off or reduce the maximum recording space used on the phone. Personally I would reduce the space down to say 500mb (it over writes the oldest files once total used space exceeds the set limit). That way should the unthinkable happen and you lose the Drone you have at least the last flight recording on the phone.
