SD Card Ejection fail on Mavic 3

Just to be sure of what I’m doing.
the SD card has to be inserted with the metallic connectors facing up. is this correct?

The card will not go in the other way, it will bind to one side. It has a slanted corner to prevent this.

My first Mavic 3 had this problem. I was reduced to getting the card out with the help of a knife blade. Not a very good way to treat the card. I reported this to DJI and they asked me to send it in for repair. They sent me a new one. Apparently this is a known problem.

Hello, today after removing the micro sd from the Mavic 3 when I slipped it into the slot it no longer holds up and comes out. What I do?

I'm not sure what you mean by "holds up" but If your micro sd card does not slide in with some resistance from a spring and then pop out a bit when pushing it in to retrieve it then you'll have to send the drone back to DJI for a fix. In my case they simply send a new drone back.
