SD Card for Mini 3.

I recently purchased SanDisk Extreme Pro U3 V30 XC I card, however when I insert it in the Mini 3 it tells me the card is too slow. I tried recording 4K video @60fps and on the computer it look very choppy. I then inserted Samsung EVO Plus U3 card. I did not get a message stating the card is too slow. Recorded 4K video @60fps. The video was batter, but still a bit choppy. Samsung EVO Plus also V30, but seems to perform better. I also have Samsung EVO Select U3, but it appears the same as EVO Plus just different label.

1. I though U3 V30 card should be good for 4K video. Do I have a bad card, or to record 4K @ 60 fps I need to use V60 card?
2. What card would you recommend for 4K @ 60FPS?

in the online manual for the mini 3 it lists the preferred cards to use
as for the choppiness you mentioned that could be down to your computers graphic card struggling to process the 4k video ,to check if this is the case , try recording a short 1080p video ,and see what its like on playback

I did check that page and the card I bought is listed there. However, first it does not say if those cards good for 4k @60fps and second, it looks like I got the counterfeit card. I ran H2test on it and only writes at 12MB/sec.

The playback choppiness you're seeing even with the "good" card may be a limitation of the computer or device you're playing it on. The graphics system might not be able to keep up with 4k 60 video.

Technically, it should work with any brand as long as it is fast enough. I have used PNY branded cards without any issues that I bought on Amazon, although I mainly use SanDisk (the gold and red ones (Extreme, I think they are called)
