Now that's interesting.... are these tweaks listed in the firmware release notes? As long as the proper Mavic 2 'tripod' mode hasn't been sacrificed (I think I'm one of the very few who do actually use and appreciate it regularly) I might even be convinced to finally update my firmwares.Correct: You do have side sensors mounted on the Drone but now they work in cooperation with the other sensors as an omnidirectional avoidance system. As the tech for these sensors has improved it is no longer necessary to give the side mounted sensors a "specific purpose".
So while the side sensors may not receive firmware just for them, The future updates, and this one, certainly send info to the mounted sensors as part of a unit of front, back, and side, that are now one omnidirectional sensor.
I also use it when composing a photo in a tight space.DJI chat said they would forward my concern to the engineers. If they restore it,you can thank meNow that's interesting.... are these tweaks listed in the firmware release notes? The reduced speed of T mode also help when moving around in a space near obstacles.Correct: You do have side sensors mounted on the Drone but now they work in cooperation with the other sensors as an omnidirectional avoidance system.
