Set vertical speed in waypoint flights

How to set the vertical speed in waypoint flights? For example, flying from WP1 @20 m to WP2 @1000 m altitude when the two WPs are practically above each other? I want a slow near-vertical climb between the two.

Interesting... I'm going to try it by just setting the flight speed to minimum and see what happens.

I'm hoping that your "WP1 @20 m to WP2 @1000 m altitude" comment was just a typo. Climbing to 1,000 m at a maximum rate of about 8 m/s (depending on what drone you have) would mean a 2 minute rise. Seems slow enough to me. LOL

Where are you flying where you are allowed to ascend to over 3,000 feet?........maybe you could place waypoints in between at different altitudes on way to max and hover at each one for a second or so
