The plus batteries may be better but in the UK we are paying double the price of a normal battery so in the sense it's not worth it
If they sold the battery in the UK at a fair price then I'd buy them

Just checked uk prices v USA
Normal battery 65 dollars plus battery 95 dollars ,online convertor is £55 for normal and £79 for the plus
Cheapest ive seen the normal battery is £59 on amazon the plus battery from china anything from £100/£120 plus weeks of waiting

Is it really that advantageous to order the Plus batteries?
They give an additional 10 mins?

It's huge for hyperlapses. All my hyper lapses are disappointingly short. 15 minutes ish is just not enough to have more than 8 seconds...

given the cost of the drone, gasoline to get where you are going and the fact that you'll enjoy and be able to do things so much more/better, and when you think about the extra cost over a period of several years of fun...it's a no brainer.

It is indeed a no-brainer. The reduction in anxiety alone is worth the upgrade price.

I'm in the process of selling my M2P right now and want to get a Mini 3 Pro. Just checking the options out.

I also sold my m2p and got a mini 3 pro with the DJI rc. It’s so nice having one small bag to take with me and not worrying about iPad cables and if it’s charged.
