Setting close waypoint for Mavic Pro

I am trying to make a video with my Mavic Pro where it starts somewhat close to a family group then backs up and gains altitude and the group and location disappear. Sort of a closing shot. I tried to use the waypoint features of the Mavic Pro and find that the closes I can set the initial / starting waypoint is about 25' away. Is there any way to set a closer waypoint for this closing sequence?
