I've been a Phantom 3 Standard pilot for a little over a year, and I recently pulled the trigger on a Mavic Pro. I'm loving the portability and range, but this evening I had an odd and possibly scary experience. After a 15-minute flight with no issues other than a momentary loss of video downlink, I started to bring my bird down. It was shortly after sunset. I looked up, saw the red lights, and thought the craft looked skewed, as if it were fighting a heavy wind, but wind was calm. I thought it must be an optical illusion. But I looked at my phone screen and saw a severely tilted horizon, something like 30 degrees.
I continued bringing the craft down. Once it came close enough to see clearly, I could see that the drone appeared horizontal to my eyes. But the view on the phone was still tilted.

I started recording a video. In this video you can see the problem corrects itself.
So now I'm wondering... gimbal hiccup? Or was my drone actually flying crooked? Can the flight log answer this question?
