Should I buy the Mavic 3 Pro right now?

I bought a Mavic 3 Pro because I purchased an Air 3s that didn’t make it through customs. Is the Mavic 3 Pro worth buying now because I keep hearing all the rumors that a new drone will be released really soon but even if so with the customs issues I’m thinking still going to be a lot of issues getting them. Just saw this on amaihobbies.com too. Just looking for feedback. It should be here Monday or Tuesday. I have the option to return for 30 days but if it’s going to impossible to get a quality drone for a while I’m going to keep it.

We can only guess but there's no reason to believe the drones launching next month will make their way thru customs any easier than drones from last year. Still, unless you get a super deal on the Mavic 3 Pro, I would wait for April 20 to see if you like the Mavic 4 Pro and then see if they'll arrive and if not, go with the Mavic 3 Pro which there should be plenty available in May going forward.

Bird in the hand. Mavic 3 Pro is now mature, bug free, and currently the best DJI consumer drone. You can start filming immediately with it, with lots of support from existing users here. Imagine the missed opportunities over the next 2 months hoping for a "better" unknown Mavic 4 Pro, that may never make it through Customs, and will take 6 months before all the bugs reported by the early adopting beta testers (of which you would be one) are squashed.

The best drone is the one you have with you and can immediately deploy, not the one you are dreaming about in the future, or might be able to get your hands on, if the stars align perfectly.

If it ain’t broke, don't go fixin' it!
Grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence.
Mostly, it's marketing hype.
