Should I top off batteries

Hi. I am wondering: I have two batteries. 20 minutes of flying, and they are back on the charger. Since I am there, I plug in my controller. Is it bad for me to constantly be plugging in a mostly charged controller? Should I let it drain completely first? Also, if I fly half a battery and I am driving to another location, is it bad to charge a half dead battery?

I know this used to be a problem with battery memory, but is it still an issue?

I have 4 and I keep them and the TX topped off all the time .
Have since I got it in Dec . I will top one of if all I do is a upgrade
or if I have run it in the red and have lots of times . I have never ran my TX down all the way and have never had an issue with it .
I fly nearly everyday and do long runs with mine so am kinda hard on them . No issues yet,knock on wood .
