Just got the Tomcase Mavic Pro Outdoor hard case. It's well made, everything fits nicely and it's unbelievably small. It fits the Mavic, the controller, 1 extra battery, spare propellers and SD-cards. The case is smaller than the DJI box. It doesn't fit as much as some of the alternatives, but for a drone designed for portability it's a very portable hard case.

Just placed a order. thank's for sharing! I use a camera soft back pack and this is great protection. In the size of my old P3 backpack i can carry. the mavic Pro and accessories, Osmo Plus, tripod's, ipad air II & mini, laptop, Go Pro and accessories, all the charging cords and sd card, before it was the p3 backpack plus carry the rest separility . obviously take out what i dont need but when travailing it all fits in one backpack.
My Mavic just arrived today from Apple UK. Ordered this large Eagle Creek Specter eCube and it fits everything. I plan on just putting this into a rucksack for hikes. The case itself is so light, but feels well padded.
I do have an extra battery and the mains charger to put in yet, but the 2nd battery is currently charging.

Anyone know of any USA dealers carrying this HPRC soft backpack? B&H has the hard case.
I have just ordered the Eagle Creek Large Specter eCube for when I'm hiking, so I can just throw it in my rucksack. But for normal everyday use I will probably buy the Lowepro SlingShot Edge 150.
This is the eagle creek Specter eCube (unfortunately I am still waiting for my Mavic to arrive, so I'm hoping it will fit!)
The Pack-it system is a useful way to stay organized, especially if you are using different technologies. ie: a DSLR, a drone and a point&shoot. All have different battery and charging accessories.

that is the best solution I have seen, what size is that? it seems they have a few?

I have 40+ Yellow used Pelican 1400 cases.
Asking $30 USD or $40 CAD.
Shipping would be extra and I would only charge what post office does charge me.

Used in boats for storing equipment. cases are dirty but come clean with goo-gone and soap.
Foam is re-configurable.

thanks i just found out that my Mac book pro fits nicely right on-top also
its a good bag for travel
