Silencing the remote

I'm thinking about adding a resistor to the remote's speaker. It's so loud! Did anyone attempt this already?

Go into your Mavic Pilots account settings and agree to the disclaimer to get access to software mods section

I haven’t tried yet put apparently if you double press the RTH button it silenced it.

Interesting, I wonder if it will work if the RC or AC battery is low. Ill try it out tomorrow (monday)

Double pressing will indeed silence it. Along with canceling the RTH.

Is the speaker on the same place as the second post shows? Any confirmation from someone before drilling. ?

I didn't see the 2nd post but I just yanked the speaker out with needle nose. First popped remote apart and toward bottom is the speaker it's the circular cylinder shaped looking thing. Had to pull couple things out before I could get to it but it worked no more annoying sound.
