This area is Minneapolis Junction, the site of the former Great Northern Railroad roundhouse in Minneapolis, MN. It is now home of the Milwaukee Road 4-8-4 Northern #261. The roundhouse burned in 1992 but the foundation can clearly be seen.

Interesting to see this old site. I can't help thinking that in a couple of years they'll probably put it all back in.
