I didn't take this at all, just stumbled onto it on YouTube. I was fascinated by how rock-solid stable this hawk can hold its head while hovering.
It's not merely rotation in pitch, roll, and yaw, but also displacement in x, y, and z-axis. The body and wings are moving all around, but the head at the end of its neck is nailed motionless to one spot in space.
