Slow charging

Funny; I literally just got my new M2 Zoom with the SC today; first thing I did was plug in the SC to get it charged up and low and behold, "Slow charger, use supplied cable and charger" message. One of the suggestions I found online was to swap the cable out and I did; used one that came with my GoPro Hero 8. Plugged in, heard a beep, and it's charging normally.

Is this really still an issue?

I didn't realize this was an issue. I got the zoom and smart controller last summer and the smart controller has charged fine with the supplied charger and cable. You must have got a dud. They should send you a new one.

Can you provide a photo or two of the DJI charger and cord you are using?

I sure can but you will have to wait a couple of weeks as I working away. You have been put in my notes so I dont foget when I get back. In any case it is a thicker type cable, thicker than your average cell phone cable.

yes, that one looks legit To me. Maybe try another cable or contact DJI for replacement.

Oops, my bad. Now that i reread all of this you were asking martysticks for pics. Sorry for my brainfart. Well i guess if anyone needed pics of the oem charger they now have them.
