I’ve had one of these SC’s for a few years now, compass calibration has always been “unreliable/suspect” but I think I have a cure, at least it works for me…
Put it into calibration mode and instead of waggling it around in some random hairdresser type fashion just rotate yourself 360 degrees on the spot while holding it flat, it now works (for me at least) as it should, correct every time I switch it on.
Just in case anyone else has the same annoyance as I have had for far too long.
Regards & Best.
